David A. Lucas

Mr. Lucas is Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer of Business Aircraft Group, Aviation Holding Company, and Charter Air Transport. He is a member of the Aviation Holding Company Board of Directors and is a Manager of Destination One LLC and N652CT LLC. He serves as the Chief Financial Officer of all the companies and participates in all aspects of their operations.

He has over 15 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer in several industries, including aviation, software development, and Federal Government contracting (primarily in long-term operations and maintenance contracts for Federal facilities). Mr. Lucas possesses a strong entrepreneurial drive and has served as president of two technology start-ups. He has a broad background in accounting, finance, contracts, labor relations, business development, and in the administration of rapidly growing businesses. He has designed, implemented, and maintained a number of financial accounting and reporting systems, including three Defense Contract Audit Agency-compliant accounting systems. In addition, he has created and taught accounting, negotiating, and general business classes at the university level.

In 2004, Mr. Lucas completely re-designed the financial accounting process for BAG and its related entities. He also implemented a completely new accounting software system at that time. In 2005, Mr. Lucas was responsible for structuring the acquisition of CAT and completing all associated due diligence. He was also responsible for obtaining Destination One's Public Charter Prospectus approval in 2006.

In January 2007, Mr. Lucas obtained Canadian charter operating authority for CAT and structured the business transaction with Players Air. In addition to his regular duties in the finance and accounting areas, Mr. Lucas handles a wide variety of special projects. In particular, he is instrumental in developing many of the contract documents used in various areas of the business. He oversees all legal matters involving the companies, working one-on-one with our outside legal counsel. He is also responsible for all insurance matters. In addition, he develops a wide variety of company communications, including this business plan. Mr. Lucas holds a BS in Business Administration from John Carroll University.
